$40 each week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from Dec 1st through Dec 31st at 7PM
You will get hands on training and you will learn basic cooking skills. Depending on your class Instructor and class description you will learn things like:
how to hold a knife, different cutting styles, the difference between saute and braise, how to sweat an onion versus caramelize, baking tricks and tips, holiday party organizing, what you can make and prep ahead of time and delicious treats you can make from basic pantry staples. Aprons, cutting boards and knives will be provided.
You will get to sample the food you prepared and you will take home a recipe card of the dishes you learned.
A donation to the Soup Kitchen is made on behalf of each class member.
