$25 Nov 24th, 2012 at 7PM We’re so happy to finally bring to the Cape one of the all-time top choices of Payomet’s Music Mavens committee, Rory Block. She’s a five-time blues music award winner who has committed her life and career to preserving the Delta blues tradition. From age of ten when the guitar first found its ways into her hands, she has evolved her signature style without ever losing the roots of Americana music. Her fiery and haunting guitar and vocal style redefines the tradition of acoustic blues and folk. Bonnie Raitt calls Rory Block’s playing, singing, and songwriting "some of the most soulful in traditional and modern blues." $50 includes after party.

The Zombies with Colin Blunstone & Rod Argent
Send Us Email Tel: 1 (508) 487-5400 29 Old Dewline Road | Payomet Performing Arts Center | N.Truro
$35 Jul 3rd, 2013 at 8PM The Zombies are now in their 51st year and are cited as being one of the most influential UK pop/rock bands of all time. Aside from the Beatles and perhaps the Beach Boys, no mid-'60s rock group wrote melodies as gorgeous as those of the Zombies. Dominated by Colin Blunstone's breathy vocals, choral backup harmonies, and Rod Argent's shining jazz- and classical-influenced organ and piano, the band sounded utterly unique for their era.
