In Their Own Words: A Poetry Reading

Tel: 1 (508) 487-7094
256 Commercial St. | Provincetown Public Library | Provincetown

Feb 2nd, 2017 at 6PM
Can poetry save this country? We don’t know for sure, but what we do know is people have been looking to poetry for centuries to help discern and question the tumultuous social and political climates. Come to a poetry reading that will indeed rely on grace, humor and beauty to speak to our present day. A group of talented poets, including Provincetown Fine Arts Writing Fellows Leila Chati, Hilary Dobel, Phillip Matthews & Sam Ross, will join Slope Editions Book Prize winning poet Keegan Lester for a stop on his national book tour in support of his debut collection of poetry, “this shouldn’t be beautiful but it was & it was all i had so i drew it”.
