This first half of this full-day workshop will explore marine animal entanglement risk and regulatory agency perspectives on present and proposed permitting and mitigation measures; the afternoon will include brainstorming sessions and grant-writing information for those wishing to develop innovative approaches to subtidal shellfish culture that eliminate entanglement risk. The workshop is free and open to all.
