SARAH SHUN-LIEN BYNUM is the author of two novels, Ms. Hempel Chronicles, a finalist for the 2009 PEN/Faulkner Award, and Madeleine Is Sleeping, a finalist for the 2004 National Book Award and winner of the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize.-AMY HEMPEL is the author of four collections of short stories: Reasons to Live, At The Gates of The Animal Kingdom, Tumble Home, and The Dog of the Marriage. Her Collected Stories was named one of the New York Times Ten Best Books of the Year, and won the Ambassador Award for Best Fiction of the Year. |
