Calling All Single Ladies

It's Time for Provincetown's Single Women's Weekend

May 4th, 2008

Are you a lady looking for a lady, some great entertainment, a hot dance floor and a vacation all in one?

During Single Women’s Weekend, which is now in its fourth year, the town of Provincetown plays cupid for single lesbians.

If so, you can have it all at Provincetown’s Single Women’s Weekend, which will take place between May 16 and 18.

During Single Women’s Weekend, which is now in its fourth year, the town of Provincetown plays cupid for single lesbians, with a series of events designed to attach the unattached, or at the very least give a girl a good time.

Whether you're looking for friends or lovers, a fling or a wife, it’s certain that you’ll find at least one of these at the weekend’s many events, which run from speed dating to wine tasting.

The weekend will start out with a “Mix and Mingle” cocktail reception and continue on to dinner, the dance floor and who knows. During the daytime, there will be brunches, lunches and coffee talks.

Entertainment is also on the weekend schedule, with comedian Vickie Shaw – a recovering Southern Baptist – set to perform on May 16 and The Wau Wau Sisters performance duo taking the stage on May 17.

The last three springs Single Women’s Weekend has brought hundreds of single women to Provincetown.

The weekend is organized by Girl Power Productions, which organizes summer parties at The Pied Bar, and the Women Innkeepers of Provincetown, who are also the organizers of the popular Women’s Weekend in October.

Registration is required for most of the events at Single Women’s Weekend and costs $35 online or $50 at the registration desk on May 16.

To find out more about the Single Women's Weekend schedule and to register ahead of time, go to www.womeninnkeepers.com. Advance registration for the weekend's events is highly recommended.
