Celebrate Your Independence

Provincetown Circuit Parties, Fireworks and More!

June 28th, 2009

Get ready to put your hands in the air and clap, because Fourth of July weekend in Provincetown brings a breathtaking harbor-side fireworks display and circuit dance parties galore.

Fireworks are always a stunning experience, as each colorful explosion finds its reflection in the dark surface of the town’s harbor.

Master DJs will be in town for two different circuit party series – David Flower’s “Summer Camp” and The Crown and Anchor’s “Independence Week.”

The Crown’s series of eight parties runs from July 2 to July 9 at the Paramount Nightclub, with star mixers Wayne Michael, Eddie Baez, Tony Moran, Susan Morabito, Tom Yaz, David Knapp and Joe Gauthreaux in the house.

Meanwhile, this year’s “Summer Camp” brings to town Randy Bettis, Mark Anthony and Roland Belmares. The trio of celebrity DJs will bend the sound waves into bliss for David Flower’s annual Pier Dance on July 4 and Sunset Boat Cruise on July 6. Also back for an encore on July 5 is Flower’s Hangar Party at a 5,000-square-foot Cape Air aircraft hangar and tarmac in the midst of the seashore’s rolling sand dunes.

Revelers can also celebrate their independence over the weekend by taking in Provincetown’s annual Fourth of July parade and fireworks display.

The fireworks, which take place at dusk, are always a stunning experience, as each colorful explosion finds its reflection in the dark surface of the town’s harbor.

Whether you’re on a boat in the middle of the brilliant showers, or high above it all near the Pilgrim Monument on High Pole Hill, or just beachside with your toes in the sand, you’ll find an unforgettable vista.
